Seventh edition of Indian Premier League may miss India in 2014 because of Lok Sabha Elections. It may be Sri Lanka & Bangladesh to host IPL 7 Season not all but few according to "The Indian Express"

In year 2009 due to general elections IPL moved to South Africa. It might be 2 stages in IPL 7 with one in India and one outside.

BCCI official told the newspaper, "A clear picture will emerge only after the dates for the Lok Sabha elections are announced. Until then, we are considering whether to have a few games in India and then move abroad, or vice versa. Both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are short journeys, so logistically, it won't be much of a problem."  He Added "The decision to move to South Africa in 2009 was taken at the last minute, and nobody had expected then that there would be an issue regarding security. But we now know that such a situation may arise again, and we are getting ready for it,"
